Lee A. Martin, Jr., MD

Dr. Martin, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, has lived in Gainesville for most of his life and is proud to call it home. After completing his undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech in 1977, he received his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Returning to Arkansas for his radiology residency and fellowship at the University of Arkansas, Dr. Martin later joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 1985. A Fellow of the American College of Radiology, and a past-president and treasurer of the Georgia Radiological Society, Dr. Martin currently is a Councilor of the American College of Radiology and sits on the ACR Radiology Standards Task Force and the ACR Legislative Action Task Force. Currently Dr. Martin serves as President of Gainesville Radiology Group, P.C. An avid tennis player himself, Dr. Martin is a benefactor of the Lakeview Academy tennis program which prides itself in providing tennis instruction and ‘core values’ to the children of the community. Dr. Martin resides in Gainesville with his wife and three children.
