Trevor N. Hooper, MD

Dr. Hooper joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 1998. A native of Gainesville, he completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at North Georgia College in 1988 and later received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1992. After finishing a rotating internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia. He holds the Subspecialty Certificate in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology and is certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.  Dr. Hooper performs all types of image guided procedures using X-ray, ultrasound and CT guidance. Recently he has become involved in developing CT imaging protocols for the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and Lariat(R) procedures which are performed in the Northeast Georgia Heart Center Laboratories. An Eagle Scout, he serves on the executive board and as the Council President of the Northeast Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Hooper resides in Gainesville with his wife and three children.
