Colby T. Chastain, MD

Dr. Chastain joined Gainesville Radiology Group in July 2004. A native of Jasper, Georgia, he completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993 and later received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1998. After finishing an internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in 1999, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Florida in 2004. He is a member of several professional Radiological societies. Dr. Chastain enjoys all aspects of MRI imaging of the musculoskeletal system and sports related injuries. Dr. Chastain lives in the Gainesville area with his wife, who is also a medical professional, and their two sons.
